About
Hi! My name is Charlotte Colombo. I'm a journalist and researcher with bylines in Metro.co.uk, Radio Times, The Independent, Daily Dot, Glamour, Stylist, and VICE, among others. I have a wide range of specialities, including technology, digital culture, entertainment, lifestyle, and neurodiversity.
Currently, I'm a full-time freelancer, reporting on viral news and UK entertainment in outlets like The Mary Sue, Bro Bible, and Entertainment Daily. I also work as a researcher for Nicole Rafiee, a pop and internet culture YouTuber who posts deep dives and video essays for over 1 million subscribers.
Before that, I worked as a Staff Writer for entertainment outlet The Digital Fix for two years and, prior to that, worked with Business Insider and Dexerto on their digital culture desks. I've also appeared on BBC Radio 5 and The Guardian podcast to share her expertise on technology, influencers, and niche internet subcultures.
I hold an MA in Magazine Journalism from City St. George's, University of London, and have been freelancing for a number of years.
